Burn Permits are required for burning of yard waste, unless burning takes place in a burn pit or campfire. A permit may be obtained by calling 269-483-7043, select the option for burn permits and leave your name, address, telephone number and items to be burned or at the White Pigeon Township Hall, Mon, Tues, Thu and Fri 9 am-1 pm, and Wed 1pm-5pm. Burn permits must be obtained a minimum of four (4) hours prior to burning. Permits expire in four (4) days. Everyone is prohibited from burning tires, building materials and anything that emits black smoke or foul odors.
